CCcam to Oscam – Converter

Here is a small and simple converter I made to convert CCcam configuration files to the OSCam.

You just need to open the CCcam.cfg in the program and then click “Convert to Oscam” and the oscam.server and oscam.user will be generated.
Then you just need to save the files to their locations or copy/paste the text.

    Warning: keyword 'user' in reader section not recognized
    Warning: keyword 'password' in reader section not recognized

    Why is that?

  2. Hugo says:

    That version is very old.
    It only accepts the username and password using the “account” variable.
    Instead of
    user=myusername
    password=mypassword
    you should use
    account=myusername,mypassword

    Or update to a recent version.

    hi,

    thanks

  6. TS says:

    Great little tool (THANKS) but you should update it. This lines are obsolete:

    user=xxx
    password=xxx

    It should be

    account = xxx,xxx

    regards

  7. TS says:

    Also when converting i this line is doubled:

    cccwantemu=1
    cccwantemu=0

    It should be only
    cccwantemu=1
    or
    cccwantemu=0

    Not both lines at the same time…

  8. Hugo says:

    TS, the correct setting on the recent SVN versions is :

    user=username
    password=password

    You can no longer use
    account=username,password

    Its obsolete.

    Check Oscam Wiki at : http://streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/index.php/OSCam/en/Config/oscam.server#account

    Check changeset 4467 : http://streamboard.gmc.to:8001/changeset/4467

  9. TS says:

    Ok, thanks for this explanation. I though “account=xx,xxx” is the correct form. I need to edit my config files then.

  10. Sameer says:

    it give this error message: access violation at address 004047fc in module cccam2oscam.exer read of address 00000016.

  11. Hugo says:

    Please test the new version 1.1 and check if the problem is fixed.

  12. vartaxe says:

    F: user pass 2 0 0 { 0:0:2 } { } { } my.dns.here
    C: my.dns.here 12000 user pass no { 0:0:2 }

    does it work for this example?

  28. Dwarsligger says:

    How frustrating that you can find dozens of explanations on the internet how to convert a CCcam cline into Oscam but NOWHERE the opposite.

    I have an old receiver using Oscam and now a new one using CCcam, I can read out the oscam cfg but I have no idea how to use that information in my receiver with CCcam cfg.

    But for some reason no one seems interested in that.
